About the Welcome Page in mobile app studies

  • The Welcome Page for apps, also known as the Welcome Intercept, is a layer that displays in the App while users are navigating and invites them to participate in a study.
    • If users click Yes, the study automatically starts.
    • If users click No, the intercept window closes and they can continue browsing through the App.
  • You can choose to show the Welcome Page or not.

 

 

Enable the Welcome Page for mobile app studies

  1. Go to the Study Builder section of your study.
  2. Choose Welcome Page welcome_page_LI_mobile.jpg in the left menu.
  3. Check Enable Welcome Page enable_welcome_page_checkbox.jpg. If this box is unchecked, participants automatically begin the study without viewing the Welcome Page.
  4. Click Save.

 

 

Edit the Welcome Page for mobile app studies

  1. Go to the Study Builder section of your study.
  2. Choose Welcome Page welcome_page_LI_mobile.jpg in the left menu.
  3. Use the Inline Editor to:
    • Insert text directly to the Welcome Intercept.
    • Apply bold, italic, or underline styles to the text.
  4. Click the title, description, continue button, or exit button to customize the text.
  5. Click Save.
