Create and edit notes in a video

Use these steps to create and edit notes in a video.

About notes

• Notes allow you to save specific points in a video where a participant did or said something that you want to keep for future reference.
• Creating a note helps you find this point again without having to go through the whole video.
• In Moderated
• For Moderated studies, you can find the notes taken during the session and add new notes.
• For Unmoderated studies, view and add notes taken while reviewing the video.

 

 

Create a note in a video

1. Go to the Results section of your study.
2. Select Videos in the left menu.
3. Click Play to open the video.
4. Move the slider to the point in the video where you'd like to make the note.
5. Click Add Note at the bottom of the player.
6. Enter the details in the box that appears at the bottom of the Notes tab on the right.
   
7. Click Add Note .

 

 

Edit a note

You can only edit notes that you've created, not notes created by others.

1. Go to the Results section of your study.
2. Select Videos in the left menu.
3. Click Play to open the video.
4. Go to the Notes tab.
5. Find the note.
6. Click Edit next to your name under the note.
7. Makes your edits.
8. Click Save Changes.

 

 

Download notes

Notes are downloaded as a .csv file.

Single video notes

1. Go to the Results section of your study.
2. Select Videos  in the left menu.
3. Find the video with the notes you'd like to download.
4. Click Download Note  under Actions.

 

Multiple videos notes

1. Go to the Results section of your study.
2. Select Videos  in the left menu.
3. Click the box next to the UZ_ID for each set of notes you'd like to download or click the box next to the UZ_ID heading to select all.
4. In the Actions drop-down, select Download Notes .
5. Click Apply  to begin the download.

 

 

Delete a note

You can only delete notes that you've created, not notes created by others.

1. Go to the Results section of your study.
2. Select Videos in the left menu.
3. Click Play to open the video.
4. Go to the Notes tab.
5. Find the note.
6. Click Delete next to your name under the note.
7. If you've deleted the note by accident, you can click Undo to add the not back.
