Create and edit video clips

About video clips

• Create video clips to highlight the most relevant parts of your videos.
• Video clips appear in the Clips tab in the Video Player (Session Replay).
• Share the clips with stakeholders who don't have access to UserZoom Manager.
• Learn how to download video clips.

Create a video clip from a video

1. Go to the Results section of your study.
2. Choose Videos in the left menu.
3. Scroll to and find the video where you'd like to make a clip.
4. Click Play next to the video.
5. At the bottom of the video play, click Create Clip .
6. Customize the following:
   • Clip name... (required)
   • Description... (optional)
   • Start time of the clip (Use the + and - buttons or manually enter the time)
   • End time of the clip (Use the + and - buttons or manually enter the time)
     
7. Click Create Clip .

Create a video clip from the Clips tab

1. Go to the Results section of your study.
2. Choose Videos in the left menu.
3. Scroll to and find the video where you'd like to make a clip.
4. Click Play next to the video.
5. Go to the Clips tab in the right column.
   
6. At the bottom of the Clip tab, click + Create Clip .
7. Customize the following:
   • Clip name... (required)
   • Description... (optional)
   • Start time of the clip (Use the + and - buttons or manually enter the time)
   • End time of the clip (Use the + and - buttons or manually enter the time)
     
8. Click Create Clip .

Create a video clip from the transcript

1. Go to the Results section of your study.
2. Choose Videos in the left menu.
3. Scroll to and find the video where you'd like to make a clip.
4. Click Play next to the video.
5. Select the Transcript tab.
   
6. In the transcript, highlight the text you want to clip and release.
7. Click Create Clip in the options that appear.
8. Customize the following:
   • Clip name... (required)
   • Description... (optional)
   • Start time of the clip (Use the + and - buttons or manually enter the time)
   • End time of the clip (Use the + and - buttons or manually enter the time)
     
9. Click Create Clip .

Edit a video clip

1. Go to the Results section of your study.
2. Choose Videos in the left menu.
3. Scroll to and find the video with the clip.
4. Click Play next to the video.
5. Go to the Clips tab on the right.
   
6. Find the clip you'd like to edit.
7. Click the three dots .
8. Select Edit.
9. 
10. You can make changes to:
    • Clip name (Required)
    • Description (Optional)
    • Start time (Start of the clip)
    • End time (End of the clip)
      
11. Click Save changes .
