Use these steps to change the study owner. |

- Only the owner of a study or an Administrator can change the study owner.
- The Owner option is only available for individual users and not teams.
- Users with Results Only Access can't be made Owners unless they are given full access.
To change the study owner, follow these steps:
- Go to the Monitor section of your study.
- Under Study Monitor in the left column, select Share Settings.
- Check if the user you want to add as an owner is under Who has access to this study and has View & Edit access.
- Yes: Go to Step 8.
- No: Go to Step 4.
- If the new owner isn't in this list, find them in the Account Directory.
- Check the box next to their name.
- Click Add user.
- Find this user under Who has access to this study.
- In the Access level column, select Owner from the dropdown.
- Click Save.
- Only the new Owner has full access to the study.
- If you were the owner previously, you now only have View & Edit access to the study.
