  • Use Labels to categorize and organize your studies to make them easier to find on the Studies Dashboard.
  • Labels allow you to filter studies based on the labels they are assigned to.
  • Anatomy of a label: You can use a single word or multiple words (with or without spaces) as a Label.
  • Study Labels Modal
    • In the Study Labels modal, view the label and the number of studies it's attached to.

    • Delete or edit Labels here. See below for details.
    • Pro Tip:
It's good practice to regularly check if your labels are meaningful. You'll want to go through and verify labels are not repetitive/ineffective. Organizing your labels keeps this clean and concise.
  • Labels and Teams:
    • Labels are created under the user's default Team.
    • If a user tries to add a Label created under a Team they do not belong to, a new Label is created for their default Team. In this scenario, you may see multiple instances of the same Label.

Tips and Tricks

  • Add a single Label when the study relates to one project, initiative, or topic area.
  • Add multiple Labels to associate a study with multiple projects, initiatives, or topic areas.
  • Common naming convention examples:
    • Project name:  Checkout Usability
    • Project name and date:  Checkout Usability November 2022
    • Project name and sprint:  Checkout Usability Sprint 3
    • Project name, sprint, and date:  Checkout Usability Sprint 3 November 2022
    • Sprint:  Sprint 3
    • Sprint and date:  Sprint 3 November 2022
    • Topic area:  Website Navigation
