UserTesting Integration for Microsoft Teams

The UserTesting integration for Microsoft Teams allows you to share links to videos and test results with anyone you choose via Microsoft Teams.

How to Set It Up

  1. Navigate to the video, clip, or highlight reel you want to share. In this example, we will share a video. Click the share icon in the controls, then select Share from the menu to access the Share video modal.

  2. Choose the Add a platform option and select Connect for the Microsoft Teams integration.2.png
  3. Next, you will be taken to a new screen where you will be asked to sign in to your Microsoft account.

  4. Select Yes when asked if you give permission to the Microsoft Teams integration to access your information on your UserTesting account.

  5. If you have successfully connected the Microsoft Teams integration, the Share video modal will include Microsoft Teams as one of your shareable options.share_on_teams.png
  6. Choose the conversation you wish to share the asset with by typing the team channel name into the search bar. Once you have found the conversation or team you're looking for, select the option from the dropdown list. When you're ready, select Send to share the asset over Microsoft Teams.

  7. When you share the asset over Microsoft Teams, it will include a brief message and a link for the recipient to select in order to view it. 
    Note: The share settings follow the permissions you establish in the UserTesting Platform. If you choose to share with "anyone with a link," then the recipient can view the video without a UserTesting account. If you share with "anyone on this account," the recipient must be on the UserTesting account to view the video.
