Add a Start Task button

Use these steps to add a Start Task button to a prototyping task or question.

👥 User roles: Owner, Admins, and Researchers

• Add a Start Task button for participants to click to begin a prototyping task or question.
• The Start Task button is available for:
  • Tree Test tasks
  • Click Test tasks
  • Timeout tasks
  • Tree Testing questions
  • Screenshot Click Testing questions
  • Screenshot Timeout questions

To add a Start Task button to a prototyping task or question, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Study Builder section of your study.
2. Select Study  in the left menu.
   
   • Tasks: In the task, scroll to Settings > Other Options.
   • Questions: 
     1. Hover over the question.
     2. Click Edit .
     3. Look for Other Options on the left.
3. Check the Start task button box.
4. Click Save.
