Create a Tree Test

Use these steps to create a Tree Test. Learn more about Tree Test feature compatibility, or check out the Tree Test course in UserZoom Academy.

Study set up

1. Click Create New Study .
2. Enter a required Study name.
3. Choose the Participant Language from the drop-down.
   • This can be changed later.
   • Keep in mind, the Legal Consent page will remain in the language initially chosen. To resolve this, create a new study in the new language and copy the welcome page in that language.
4. Select the Study Privacy:
   • Only you (private)
   • Everyone on your team (shared)
5. Click Next.
6. Select Unmoderated as the study approach.
7. Choose Tree Test as the Study type.
8. Pick the device type:
   • Desktop, Tablet & Mobile
   • Desktop
   • Tablet & Mobile
9. Click Create Study .

Recruitment

1. Select your recruitment type:
   • Let us find participants for you (IntelliZoom)
   • Recruit your own users (participants)
2. Click Add Segment .
3. Create and manage your segments.

Customize your study

• If you'd like to customize your study later:
  1. Click Next to finalize the creation wizard process.
  2. Come back to the Task Builder later to continue editing the study.
• To customize your study now, add any or all of these options
  • Welcome Page
  • Questionnaire
  • Tree Test task or question
  • Click Test task
  • Timeout Task
  • Questions Only Task
  • Final Pages & Redirect Links
