Choose domains or URLs to record in Navigation tasks
- Choose domains or URLs to record in Navigation tasks in Advanced UX Research studies only.
- The active browser tab is recorded when recording a Navigation task.
- This setting is task-specific, giving you more flexibility.
To choose domains or URLs to record in Navigation tasks, follow these steps:
- Go to the Study Builder section of your study.
- Click Study in the left menu.
- Go to the Navigation task.
- Go to the Recording tab.
- Check the Record only specific domains/URLs box.
- Enter the domain or URL in the proper field:
- Only record: Allow the domain or URL.
- Do not record: Block the domain or URL.
- Click Save.
Check HTTPS URLs whitelisted for your account
- In most accounts, HTTPS URLs are recorded by default and these steps are unnecessary.
- In rare instances, some accounts have a setting activated that doesn't allow HTTPS URLs to be recorded unless they are whitelisted at the account level.
- Find a list of URLs that are whitelisted by default below.
To check HTTPS URLs whitelisted for your account, follow these steps:
- Click your username in the top right corner.
- In the drop-down menu, click on Account Settings.
- Go to Videos.
- If the specific HTTPS pages you need to be whitelisted are not in the list, contact us.
