Testing prototypes

  • You can test desktop or mobile prototypes in UserZoom studies to:
    • Help you decide on the next prototype iteration
    • Compare one prototype version with another
    • Generate UX metrics to de-risk the launch of a new feature or journey.
  • The most common approaches are to run:
    • Basic Usability Tests to capture think out loud feedback
    • Advanced Studies to measure at scale
    • Moderated sessions to delve deeply into the experience
  • In a UserZoom study, you can:
    • Send participants to the prototype by adding it as the Initial URL for Navigation Tasks.
    • Set participant expectations with a preamble (For example, "You are about to use a site/app we are still working on, so not everything will work. Please read the task carefully.")
