What is a Creator?
- A Creator is a role type assigned to anyone on your team who needs to create and launch tests on the UserTesting platform.
- Admins also have the ability to create custom Creator roles. Learn more about flexible roles and permissions.
What can Creators do?
Creators can:
- Create an unlimited number of tests
- Save tests as templates
- Edit tests
- Edit screener questions
- Launch tests (subject to Approval flow settings)
- View and share test session results
- Create and start Live Conversation interviews
- Run short tests
Who should be a Creator?
- Creators should be anyone who will be regularly building and launching tests.
- Creators might be researchers, or they can be anyone on the team tasked with running studies.
How do Creator roles get assigned to team members?
Admins can assign Creator roles in two different ways:
- Assign the role when adding team members to the UserTesting account.
- Assign the role from the People tab (under Settings) by accessing the account member's profile.
- Select the Creator role from the Update role dropdown.
