Plan types

UserTesting offers two flexible consumption models designed to scale with your organization. Each plan gives you access to your tier's capabilities, with differences in usage, scale, and feature access:

• Test-based consumption — Pay based on the number of tests you run, with unlimited users across your enterprise
• Team-based unlimited — Unlimited testing with predictable pricing, ideal for organizations scaling insights across multiple teams and geographies

Both consumption models are available at three tier levels: Advanced, Ultimate, and Ultimate+. The tier you choose determines which capabilities and features are included in your subscription.

Consider test-based consumption if:

• Your team is getting started with research
• Your testing needs vary from month to month
• You want flexibility without per-seat costs

Consider team-based unlimited if:

• You have consistent, ongoing research needs
• You're scaling insights across multiple teams
• You prefer predictable, fixed pricing

All plans include enterprise-grade security and compliance certifications (SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).

Test-based consumption 

Test-based consumption is ideal for teams getting started or with variable research needs.

How it works:

• Pay based on test usage across your team
• Flexible scaling based on your research needs
• Unlimited users across the enterprise (no per-seat charges)
• Access to all capabilities included in your tier

Team-based unlimited 

Team-based unlimited plans are best for organizations scaling insights across multiple teams and geographies who want predictable, unlimited testing.

How it works:

• Unlimited tests within a defined enterprise scope
• Predictable pricing for scaling across teams and geographies
• Access to all capabilities included in your tier
• Automatic access to select capabilities (e.g., UserTesting for Figma plugin)

Advanced

• For teams ready to leverage human insights. 
• Includes essential testing capabilities like unmoderated tests, surveys, interaction tests, think-out-loud studies, moderated Live Conversations, AI-generated insight summaries, and access to the global participant panel across 60+ countries. 
• Includes enterprise-grade security and compliance, integrations with popular tools like Slack, Teams, Jira, and Figma, and a dedicated Customer Success Manager.

Ultimate

• For organizations comfortable running research and assimilating fast feedback. 
• Includes everything in Advanced, plus AI-generated test creation, AI-powered analysis and insights, smart tags, Insights Hub with AI-powered insight discovery, card sorting and tree testing, custom audience management, secure prototype hosting, and approval workflows. 
• Some capabilities may be available depending on your plan type.

Ultimate+

• For enterprises who want to scale outcomes beyond their constraints. 
• Includes everything in Ultimate, plus access to industry-leading custom insights services (including premium onboarding, insights strategy, insights delivery, and custom audience sourcing) and Premier Support+ with a dedicated consultant.
