About Google Play Store integrations
Supported country and review translations
- The Play Store integration automatically fetches reviews from the following countries:
- Argentina
- Australia
- Canada
- Colombia
- France
- Germany
- India
- Indonesia
- Mexico
- United Kingdom
- United States
- All non-English reviews will also automatically be translated into English. The review in its original language will also be provided in addition to the translation.
Get reviews from the Google Play Store
- Open the Settings menu.
- Select Manage integrations.
- Choose the Google Play Store integration.
- Add the Play Store URL for the Android app you want to get reviews from.
- Click Add to begin importing the reviews into your EnjoyHQ workspace.
Note: Only reviews with written feedback are fetched.- EnjoyHQ ignores app reviews with only ratings without written reviews.
- Due to rate limiting with the Play Store's API, it takes a little while to fetch the data. This is especially the case for apps with thousands of reviews.
Google Maps example
To pull in reviews from the Google Maps app, simply add in its Google Play Store URL: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.maps
Calculate review sentiment
The Sentiment of reviews will be automatically calculated from their star ratings:
- Positive: 5-star (★★★★★) or 4-star (★★★★☆) ratings
- Neutral: 3-star (★★★☆☆) ratings
- Negative: 2-star (★★☆☆☆) or 1-star (★☆☆☆☆) ratings
Remove Google Play Store integrations
- To remove a Play Store Integration, click the Remove icon next to the name of the app.
- Once removed, data from the Play Store stops syncing.
- If you want to resume importing reviews from an app that's been removed, add it back again.
- Important: Removing an integration does not delete imported reviews from your workspace. If you wish to removed imported reviews, you will need to delete them from your workspace (e.g., utilizing the batch editing functionality).
Deactivate Google Play Store integrations
To deactivate a Play Store integration without fully removing it from your workspace, you can use the checkbox to toggle between active and inactive states for a given app.
