Depending on whether or not you collect contributor emails for your Invite Network test, there will be different places where you can access contributor identifiers for your test sessions.
There are three ways contributors can be assigned identifiers:
- Email address, provided by the contributor optionally. (Note: This is only optional for unmoderated desktop tests.)
- userID, an optional parameter that you can manually add to the URL of the test link. For more information on how to do this, review Invite Network: Overview.
- UUID, a unique identifier that the system generates for the contributor and is exposed in the UserTesting interface where a userID is not issued. It will always be available in the Excel export.
Here are some situations you might encounter when collecting or providing contributor information and how you can locate the contributor identifiers in your results.
