About moving tests and drafts

You can move tests and drafts between workspaces and folders, provided you have the required permissions:

  • Creator permissions to move a draft to a new workspace
  • "All Permissions" in the destination workspace to move a test or draft there
  • If the destination workspace does not appear in the Workspace dropdown, verify your permissions and workspace membership.

Session Units(SUs)

  • If a test with Session Units(SUs) moves to a different workspace, its used and available SUs transfer with it.
  • The SUs will count against the destination workspace's limits.
    • Example: A test created and launched in Workspace A then moves to Workspace B. The SUs for that test will be counted in Workspace B.
  • Keep this in mind if your workspaces have SU limits.
