About moving tests and drafts
You can move tests and drafts between workspaces and folders, provided you have the required permissions:
- Creator permissions to move a draft to a new workspace
- "All Permissions" in the destination workspace to move a test or draft there
- If the destination workspace does not appear in the Workspace dropdown, verify your permissions and workspace membership.
Session Units(SUs)
- If a test with Session Units(SUs) moves to a different workspace, its used and available SUs transfer with it.
- The SUs will count against the destination workspace's limits.
- Example: A test created and launched in Workspace A then moves to Workspace B. The SUs for that test will be counted in Workspace B.
- Keep this in mind if your workspaces have SU limits.
Move a test or draft between workspaces
- From the Dashboard, choose either Tests or Drafts in the navigation menu on the left.
- Click the Options (...) menu of the test or draft you want to move and select Move to...
- Choose the Workspace and Folder (if necessary).
