Rating scale – Net Promoter Score (NPS) questions
What is Net Promoter Score (NPS)?
- Depending on the rating given, participants fall into one of the following groups:
- Promoters (9-10): Loyal enthusiasts who will stay with your company and refer others.
- Passives (7-8): Satisfied but unenthusiastic customers who are vulnerable to competitive offerings.
- Detractors (0-6): Unhappy customers who have the potential to damage your brand and impede growth through negative word-of-mouth.
- The NPS score is calculated following the formula below:Â
% of Promoters - % of Detractors = Net Promoter Score. - To show whole numbers, the percentages of Detractors, Passives, and Promoters are rounded to the nearest whole number.
