About Exit Button and Exit Links
- An Exit Button or Exit Link in your study allows participants to close the study and not take part in it.
- Exit Links can't be removed from the Initial Questionnaire of a Live Intercept project.
Show an Exit Link in a Survey
- Go to the Study Builder section of your study.
- Click Look & Feel
in the left menu.
- Go to the Study Layout tab.
- Click Show More Options.
- Under Show, check Exit Link.
- Click Save.
Show an Exit Button or Exit Link in a Site Intercept
- Go to the Study Builder section of your study.
- Click Look & Feel
in the left menu.
- Go to the Site Intercept tab.
- Click Show More Options.
- Under Exit Options, choose one of the following:
- Exit Button and Link: Gives participants the option to click the No button or the Close [x] link at the right top corner of the Site Intercept.
- Exit Button: Gives participants the option to click the No button in the Site Intercept.

Exit Link: Gives participants the option to click the Close [x] link at the right top corner of the Site Intercept.
- Click Save.
