About Live Intercept instructions

  • Instructions appear after the Initial Questionnaire and before the Final Questionnaire.
  • They appear as a new pop-up window to tell the participant to go back to browsing the site, and then come back to the pop-up to answer some questions when they've finished browsing.
  • There are two types of instructions available:
    • Simple:
      • Shows a static message on a single page.
      • Contains a button to start the Final Questionnaire.
    • Advanced
      • Advanced instructions are only available for Live Intercept for Desktop studies.
      • Participants see two separate pages:
        • One with instructions to go back to browsing the site and come back when they've finished.
        • Another with a button to start the Final Questionnaire along with some basic directions.
      • The first page changes to the second page when participants go back to the main browser window and then come back to the instructions, or when a few seconds pass (States transition Type option described below).
