Create a think-out-loud test

Note: You can create a new test in the updated experience or duplicate and convert an existing test in the Classic experience. See the article Convert Classic tests to updated think-out-loud tests for step-by-step guidance.

To create a think-out-loud test, follow these steps:

  1. Click Create test.
  2. Below, Unmoderated test, hover over Think-aloud test.
  3. Select New experience.


     
  4. Choose Create a test.
  5. Name your test.
  6. Select device type.
  7. Choose the language participants should speak for the test: English, Spanish, French, or German. 

     
  8. In the Test builder tab, select the + Add button to add tasks and questions based on your test goal. 
  9. Navigate to the Audience tab to recruit your participants.
  10. Go to the Review tab to preview your test, and then pilot it before launch.

 

 

Edit your think-out-loud tests

If you need to change your test type, follow these steps:

  1. In the Test builder tab, navigate to Summary.
    Note: This can also be found on the Review page.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Select test type, update device type, and change language here.
