Participants in UserTesting typically receive an email about a Live Conversation shortly after they match the study's criteria and book a time slot. Here's how the process works:

  1. Matching the study criteria:
    • Participants receive an email invitation or see the opportunity in their dashboard if they meet the criteria for your test.
  2.  Confirmation after booking:
Once participants select a time slot, they immediately receive a confirmation email with the scheduled details of the session, including:
    • Date and time of the session (in their time zone).
    • A link to join the Live Conversation.
    • Any instructions or preparation needed.
  3. Reminder emails:
Participants are also sent reminder emails as the session date approaches. These typically include:
      • A reminder 24 hours before the session.
      • Another reminder 1–2 hours before the scheduled time.
