Research Explorer
Just getting started with leveraging customer feedback? Through a short video-based course followed by a quiz, the Research Explorer certification helps you adopt a research mindset and start building your user research Toolbox by introducing the essential concepts, mindsets, and methods you need to start strong.
After completing this course, you'll be able to...
- Explain why research is essential for making confident, user-centered decisions
- Describe how research supports each stage of the creative process
- Recognize common mindset traps and how to avoid them
- Distinguish between common research types, methods, and data sources
- Recognize common research methods and when they might be used
- Understand the basics of writing screeners, tasks and questions

Qualitative Research Accelerator
New to user research or looking for a well-structured refresher? In this instructor-led cohort-based program, in 7 one-hour sessions we’ll explore the best practices that make research meaningful.
In sessions 1–5, you’ll dive into key concepts:
- #1 Crafting strong research questions
- #2 Writing effective screeners
- #3 Writing effective usability tasks
- #4 Deriving insights from qualitative data
- #5 Communicating findings effectively
In sessions 6 and 7, you'll integrate everything by practicing in a realistic, hands-on research scenario.
What to expect:
- Interactive instructor-led sessions
- Sessions are live and not recorded
- Small group of learners
- Clear explanations accompanied by examples
- Quizzes, exercises, and plenty of discussion
- A relaxed and friendly atmosphere
The cost of the Qualitative Research Accelerator certification is $500 per learner.
💡IMPORTANT:
- You need to attend at least 6 out of 7 sessions.
- After attending the required sessions, you'll have access to a 15-question quiz.
- To earn the certificate, you'll need to score at least 87%.

New to UserZoom? This program is meant to give you a comprehensive introduction to the UserZoom platform. It consists of two parts:
- The UserZoom Jumpstart class, which can be taken either on-demand or live, teaches you how to build and launch a Basic Usability Test.
- A short quiz to consolidate your knowledge and earn your certificate and badge.
The UserZoom Trailblazer certification is free.
UserZoom Trailblazer Plus
Looking to upskill your UserZoom knowledge? Through this on-demand learning path you’ll learn about:
- Advanced recruitment features
- Different study types in UserZoom
- Click Tests
- Card Sorts
- Tree Tests
- Advanced UX Research (optional)
- A short quiz to consolidate your knowledge and earn your certificate and badge.
