Use these steps to create a new user. Users can be Single Sign-On (SSO) or non-SSO (access with a username/password). These steps can only be completed by Owners or Admins. |

Create a non-SSO (username/password) user
Non-SSO users have to log in with their username and password.
- Click your Username at the top right corner.
- Select Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Choose Users & Teams in the left menu under General.
- Scroll to the Users section, and click New User.
- Enter this information:
- Email Address (used to log in)
- First Name
- Last Name
- User rights
- Give the user access to the required teams (if applicable).
- Click Save.
The system sends a Welcome email to users with a link to set a password.
About SSO users
- To add SSO users, your account has to have SSO enabled.
- Any already existing users accessing with a password can be converted to SSO.
Create an SSO user
Only Owners and Admins can enable an SSO user.
- Ask users to access UserZoom Manager (however you have this configured). After accessing Manager:
- Users are added as Disabled, and see this message:
- They can now be enabled with SSO access.
- Users are added as Disabled, and see this message:
- Click your Username at the top right corner.
- Select Account Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Choose Users & Teams in the left menu under General.
- Scroll to the Users section, and find the user's email address in the email column.
- Click Enable in the Options column for each user.
The system sends an email to users confirming SSO access.
Pro tip
If you add an SSO user manually, they can access directly without needing to be enabled further. However, this way, the user will receive the email to set a password. This means that unless the auto-discover feature is disabled for their email domain, they will be able to access using their username and password. Ask them to access via SSO.
