About AI-generated insight summaries

Important: This feature is available only to members who have access to AI features. Customers who have opted out of Gen-AI will not be able to use this feature. 

• AI-generated insight summaries automatically analyze information from all responses in a completed test and surface the key themes shared across participants.
• For each theme, you can view the sessions it’s based on to verify findings and explore the source material.
• Summaries are generated automatically. You don't need to trigger them manually.

Supported test types: 

• Updated unmoderated think-out-loud tests
• Unmoderated Interaction tests
• Surveys

View your AI-generated insight summary

Once your test is complete, the AI-generated summary appears on the Summary tab of your Results view.

AI-generated insight summaries include:

• Overview: A brief description of the research goal and the test as a whole.
• Top themes: Key themes identified across all sessions, each showing the number of sessions that contributed to it. 
  • The top 3 themes are shown by default. 
  • Select Show more to see additional themes.

Follow these steps to view your summary:

1. Open a completed test from your dashboard.
2. Select the Results tab.
   
3. Choose Show Summary.
   
4. Review the themes listed. Each theme shows the number of contributing sessions.
   
5. Select Sources next to any theme to see which specific sessions are cited.
   

Requirements and limitations

Editing

• AI-generated summaries cannot be edited. 
• To capture your own notes alongside the summary, use the test's notes or reporting tools.

Language

• Summaries are generated in English only, regardless of the language spoken in sessions.
