About custom terms
- Add customizable terms for each audience when launching surveys, including Invite Network, by editing the text box and check box text.
- Use custom terms to obtain participants’ consent to collect Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
- Collect higher-quality responses by ensuring that participants know what information is being gathered.
Set up custom terms

Go to Create test, then select Build a survey.
- Navigate to the Audience tab.

Add an audience to your test and locate Confidentiality terms after the Demographic filters.
- We’ve added a default template with generic data privacy text. You can delete it, edit the text directly in the text box, and add secure URLs linking to your specific terms. Links open in a new tab for participants. You can edit the text for the check box.
- Participant sees:
- If you don't have any custom terms to add to your tests, you can delete this modal by clicking on the trash icon in the upper right-hand corner.
