Use these steps to launch an unreleased Andriod App test.

How to create an unreleased Android App test

  1. Click Create test, then Unmoderated test. Choose Create a classic test.
  2. Select App.

  3. Choose whether you want to build an audience with the UserTesting Contributor Network or your own network of contributors (Custom Network). 

    You also have the option to create a link to share with anyone outside of the UserTesting platform (Invite Network). 

    Note: To test an unreleased app with Invite Network contributors, you must use a TestFlight public beta link.

 

 

Add a link or upload the app

If you are using the UserTesting Network audience:

  • There are two ways to add your unreleased Android app file (APK):
    • Upload the app. We strongly recommend uploading Android apps with TestFlight.

    • Link to your app in the Google Play store or TestFlight.
