Finding the App URL

Use these steps to find the App URL.

About URLs in tests

  • To launch an app test with UserTesting, you'll need:
    • The URL of the app in Google Play (Android)
    • The URL of the app in App Store (iOS)  
    • A public TestFlight link
    • Or, upload the build of your app

 

 

Android

To find an App URL for Android, follow these steps: 

  1. Search for the app in the Google Play Store
  2. Copy the URL at the top of Google Play for the specific app

  3. Paste it into your test plan in the URL section

iOS

To find an App URL for iOS, follow these steps: 

  1. Use a search engine to locate the URL
    For example, enter "Instagram ios app" in Google.

  2. Copy the URL at the top of the App Store page for the specific app
  3. Paste it into your test plan in the URL section
