How and when is data deleted?
- When data is manually deleted, it is immediately removed from the application's search index.
- After 2 weeks, the data will be permanently deleted from the application's durable data store.
- This 2 week waiting period is in place as a security net so that any accidental deletions can be recovered if necessary.
-
Documents deleted by automation Rules are hidden from the application's search index.
- They are still temporarily present in the backend index for 2 months before such is deleted permanently.
- This difference in behavior allows data that was automatically deleted from an integration to be restored if the conditions are changed for the automation Rule triggering the data deletions.
- Stories, Projects (along with their Plan, Analysis, and Report sections), Saved Searches, Charts, and Dashboards are deleted immediately when manually deleted.
- Data can also be immediately and permanently deleted upon request. If your account is closed, all account data will be deleted within 24 hours.

Is my data private and safe?
- Yes. Communication between all application components (including connections to the database and other internal services) happens only within our private network, and all 3rd-party communication is performed over a secure connection.
- User passwords, access tokens, and any other stored information are also encrypted.

How is sentiment calculated for data imported by integrations?
- Data imported from integrations will automatically be parsed by proprietary sentiment analysis algorithms to ascertain whether the feedback is Positive, Negative or Neutral when possible.
- If you find data imported from integrations with a seemingly inaccurate sentiment applied, it's likely there's some complexities in the language your customers are using or the feedback may encompass multiple sentiments.
- If a sentiment appears inaccurate, it can always be manually changed as needed.
How is sentiment calculated for NPS surveys?
EnjoyHQ automatically converts scores from NPS surveys into sentiment using the following scale:
- Negative (Detractors): 0-6
- Neutral (Passives): 7-8
- Postive (Promotors): 9-10
