Add participants to a test

Use these steps to add participants to a test after launching.

  1. Go to the Sessions tab of your test. Click Add more sessions.

    Alternatively, click the Actions button and choose Add contributors.

  2. In the dialogue box, choose whether you want to Add more contributors based on audience or Add specific contributors by their usernames.

  3. Select Add contributors when you're done.

Keep in mind:

  • You will not be able to add a new audience of participants once the test is launched. For example, if you run a test with five participants on desktops, you cannot add five participants on mobile devices after the test is launched. You would have needed to start the test with one audience of participants on their desktops and a second audience on their mobile devices.
  • When piloting a test, include one participant from each audience you plan to include in the full test.
  • If you do find that you need a new audience, create a duplicate test.
