How do I enable the UserTesting for Figma Plugin?

The UserTesting Figma Integration is the foundation of our plugin. It enables us to receive and send data to and from Figma, providing functionality such as success paths and heat maps. It needs to be enabled on your user account before you can use the plugin.

Full detailed steps for enabling the integration can be found here.

File Key Permissions

By using the UserTesting for Figma plugin, you agree to the following:

  1. When you open this plugin within Figma, UserTesting receives the file key for that file and securely stores it when you create a test from a Figma prototype so it can generate results, metrics, and visuals tied to your prototype. Anyone who has access to the UserTesting test will also have access to that file key. You can remove your Figma data from UserTesting at any time by disconnecting the prototype or deleting the related Figma task from the test.
