Allowing Access to UserTesting Domains

At a Glance

In certain situations (most frequently when previewing a test), a customer’s corporate network can prevent users from accessing UserTesting domains. Adding certain domains to an Allow list (sometimes called a Whitelist) can overcome this issue.

We find that some access issues (including most preview-related errors) are due to corporate network restrictions. We suggest speaking to your IT department and asking them to add the following domains to an Allow list:

  • *.usertesting.com:443
  • ut-videos-secure.s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com:443
  • ut-videos-secure-us-east-1.s3.amazonaws.com:443
  • ut-videos-secure-eu-central-1.s3-eu-central-1.amazonaws.com:443
  • ut-videos-secure-ap-southeast-1.s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com:443
  • ut-videos-secure-ap-southeast-2.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com:443
  • s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com:443
  • s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com:443
  • s3-eu-central-1.amazonaws.com:443
  • s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com:443
  • s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com:443
