Screen recording/sharing in MacOS 10.15 (Catalina, Big Sur, later)

Recently updated your Mac to MacOS 10.15 (Catalina) or MacOS 11 (Big Sur)?

With the more recent Operating Systems, Apple requires that people also grant permission for screen recording or screen sharing in the System Preferences for all apps on an individual basis.  (Chrome, Skype, Zoom, MS Edge, WebEx, etc)

This will need to be done whether you're participating in a Moderated Interview or an Unmoderated test.

  1.  Open System Preferences and select the Security & Privacy icon:

2.  Select the Privacy icon, then Screen Recording.  Click the check box next to Google Chrome or MS Edge:

 * You may have to click the lock icon and enter your Admin password to make changes.
As well, you will have to reload Chrome or Edge for the changes to stick!
