Exporting your completed test to Excel allows you to:

  • Quickly search for keywords across multiple test contributor responses
  • Easily copy results for reporting and presentations to stakeholders
  • Share the file with others on your team so that they can scan for interesting points

How It Works

Step 1: Export to Excel

From your Dashboard, select the test that you’d like to export. You can export from different places within the Platform:

From the List View (on the Tests page):

From the Sessions tab:

Individual session and player view:

You can also export the results of an individual contributor session from the Sessions tab. There are two ways to do this:

  1. Find on the Sessions tab the session of the individual contributor whose results you want to export. Click the Actions drop-down across from their username.
  2. Clicking the video play button next to the username takes you inside the video player. Select the Export to Excel option.

Once your export is ready, you’ll have the option to download the file. The file will also be emailed to you for your reference.

Step 2: Review your results via Excel

Your file, presented in Simplified Formatting, will include details about the test you exported, including Transcripts, contributor demographics, written responses, multi-select responses, as well as clips and notes you marked "Important" and tagged with a sentiment. It's easy to find results by searching for specific keywords; sharing your findings is also quite straightforward.

Can I combine multiple tests in one Excel workbook?

Yes! Follow these steps to accomplish this:

1.  From your Dashboard, click the checkbox next to each study you'd like to export. Click the ellipsis (three dots) and select Export to Excel from the drop-down menu.

2. Choose All selections to one Excel workbook, and select Export. When your file is available to download, you'll see clearly labeled Excel tabs that display session details, metrics, notes, and video clips from the studies you selected.
