About Seamless recorder
- With the UserTesting seamless desktop recorder, contributors can give feedback immediately after enabling permissions.
- Once a contributor qualifies, completes onboarding screens, and passes a mic check, they enter the test experience.
- The seamless recorder is compatible with Edge, Firefox, and Safari (current version only) for UserTesting Contributor Network and Custom Network desktop tests.
- For Invite Network desktop tests, the seamless recorder is compatible with Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari (currently version only).
- No download is required for contributors to take the desktop test.
- The test will utilize a tab structure, with contributors able to access the tasks on one tab and the testing asset on another.
- Testing prompts will never block testing assets.
