Finding the app URL

Overview

The UserTesting Platform allows you to easily test iOS and Android apps, including unreleased apps using TestFlight. In the platform, you have the option to include the URL app from the respective app store or provide a public link from TestFlight. Visit Apple's website to learn more about testing with TestFlight.

To launch an app test with UserTesting, you'll need the URL of the app in the Google Play (Android) or App Store (iOS), a public TestFlight link, or upload the build of your app. To find the URL of your app in the Google Play or App Store, follow the instructions below:

  • The URL at the top of the Google Play for the specific app is what you should enter in the mobile test order form. 

iOS

  • The easiest way to get an iOS app URL is by using a search engine. For example, enter "Instagram ios app" in Google.

  • The URL at the top of the App Store page is what you should enter in the mobile test order form. 

 Note: At this time, the URL must be from the US, UK, or Canadian app stores.
