Scheduling studies to launch

Last Updated: Sep 27, 2017 09:51AM PDT

Sometimes you want to launch your study immediately after creating it. Once launched, your study is shared with panelists who can elect to complete it.

But other times, you want to schedule the date and time that you launch your study. This is relevant in a number of situations:

  • You want to ensure your study is available at a time that is most convenient to an audience you are targeting.
  • You want to launch a study at a time that isn’t necessarily convenient to you. For example, you don’t want to wake up early to manually launch a study at a certain time.
  • You want to launch studies asynchronously to optimize your workflow. Instead of setting aside time to create and launch a study at a specific time, schedule them ahead of time to launch at a desired date and time.

How it works

After you have created your study, you can immediately launch it by clicking “Have Users Start Testing.” Alternatively, you can click “Schedule test” to select the date and time you want your study to launch.

If you click on “Schedule test,” you will be taken to a new screen where you can select the date and time that you would like your study to be shared with participants.

After making these selections and clicking the “Save” button, you will review your study details, including launch date and time. Then click “Confirm” to launch your study at the time you have selected.
